via CP commands, to display the symbolic name of the library where they

Before printing a spool file, VM/370 initializes the 3800 printer by
loaaing it with the tables that control feature selection and printing. VM/31Q provides a capability to purge spool files that cause errors when they are loaded into the 3800 printer. tables aad .odules that control feature selections and printing on the 3800 printer. These service progra.s save the control tables and
control modules as a named system. NAMED SYSTEft SUPPORT A new X'74' instruction provides a capability to save or to
load a named system that contains the control tables and control .odules
for the 3800 printer. The new BAftE3800 macro instruction allows named systems to be specified in the same manner as the NAMEICP macro instruction, except that the CPTYPE operand is not used. A new copy
file, NPRTBL copy, supports the NAftE3800 .acro instruction. USING THE 3800 PRIITER WITH STANDALONE UTILITIES OR WITH A V8/370 STARTER SYSTEM Release 6 supports the use of the 3800 printer with either standalone
