8.144 S{+/-} dev (Turn CCW stepping on or off)

8.144.1 Function

This command turns on (s+ dev) or turns off (s- dev) the CCW stepping function. After CCW stepping is
turned on every execution of a CCW has to be confirmed by hitting ENTER on the Hercules console and
produces detailed trace output.

This is the address of the device for which CCW stepping will be turned on or off.

The plus sign turns on the CCW stepping for the given device. The plus sign must
immediately follow the S command (without an intervening blank).

The minus sign turns off the CCW stepping for the given device. The minus sign
must immediately follow the S command (without an intervening blank).
