Immediate Commands
Immediate Commands You can issue an Immediate command from the terminal only after causing
an attention interruption by pressing the Attention key (or its
equivalent). These commands are processed as soon as they are entered.
The HT and RT Immediate commands are also recognized when they are
stacked in an EXEC procedure, and the HT Immediate command can be
appended to a CMS command preceded by a logical line end symbol (I). Any program execution in progress is suspended until the Immediate
command is processed.
None of the Immediate commands issue responses. Use the HB command to stop the

continues to its normal completion, and all recorded trace information
