• L Locate (Pattern Scan) _____________________________
LOCATE searches the file for the first occurrence of the
without regard to upper and lower case pattern specified, ________________________________________, and
moves the display to the start of the matched string.
Locate <lit>° <wind>°
<lit>...the literal character string to be located (must be less
than 253 characters)
MODIFIERS _________
LOCATE may be used with the modifiers "B", "L", or "M", in any
combination or order:
Backwards B..._________: The search will be backwards towards the top of
the file (up to 8000 characters).
Long L...____: The entire file will be searched.
Mixed Mode M...__________: The case of each character must match exactly
(rather than disregarding case).
