• The default for the multiple window version is
NORMAL-@-&-O+BL+CN
This produces a display which is pleasant to read but also
allows editing operations.
• Special character codes will be interpreted for the IMLAC
display while not showing splices, eclipses, or pmujs.
• The viewspec string will take effect in the specified window.
If none is specified, it will take effect in all windows.
