• Q Query System Status ___________________________
QUERY describes the current location in terms of Space and
Area, displays the three system keyword strings in effect, or
lists all open files -- noting which file is current.

Location ________
Files


Files......Display the names of all open files.
Keywords...Display the three system keyword strings; those set
by SKANNOTATION, SKJUMP, and SKDISPLAY.
Location ________...Describe the current location in terms of Space name
and Area number (which will always be 1 unless
multiple Areas have been created).
NOTES _____
• QUERY is very useful when the user has forgotten the names of
the files currently open, since the filename must be specified
when using FFILE.
RESTRICTIONS ____________
ten • "QUERY F" will list only up to ___ files, although more than
that may be open simultaneously.
• PRINT should not be used immediately following QUERY.
MULTIWINDOW ___________
• QUERY is considered for the current window unless another is
specified.
all • QUERY F will list ___ open files, not just those open in that
window.
